The Mums Season

When October comes, the season of mums is upon us.  The mums in our backyard have burst forth, showering the beds with blooms of orange and red and rust.  Their brilliant, colorful display unfortunately heralds the frost in the morning and sweater weather that is soon to come — but they are beautiful just the same.
