The New Terminal C

I flew into and out of NYC on Delta, which meant I got to enjoy the new Terminal C at LaGuardia. As the photo above indicates, the new Terminal C is open, spacious, clean, bright, quiet–all of the qualities that the old LaGuardia terminals sorely lacked. In fact, when I first started flying to LaGuardia, the cramped, dark, beat-up terminals reminded me of being in a bus station. It was not a good look.

It’s amazing when an expensive new terminal project can accomplish–and it’s appropriate, too, given that so many people come in to New York City by air. The new terminal C affords a much more appealing first taste of the Big Apple than the LaGuardia of days gone by.
