7 or 11

Here’s an article that was in yesterday’s Columbus Dispatch about a community, Lawrenceburg, Indiana that inherited the old Argosy Casino and renovated it. I’ve not been to the new casino yet, but had been to Argosy five to ten times during my lifetime with a bus load of other gambling hopefuls.

We would leave at 9:00 a.m in the morning from Columbus and travel over the Ohio river to Kentucky. We were given a ticket for a free lunch and dinner buffett with the rest of our time to do as we pleased and would then depart around 7:00 p.m. Once we got back on the bus we were asked to raise our hand if we won money and typically only four or five out of forty did, but when asked if we had fun and would do it again all forty would raise their hands.

If Columbus gets a casino I will definitely go at least a couple times a year with my friends !
