I’m pleased to report that JT’s Pizza & Pub came out on top of the Pizza Connoisseurs of Columbus polling for the best pizza in Columbus. The PCOC is a Facebook group of more than 61,000 local pizza fans who voted JT’s the 2023 pizzeria of the year.
It’s a well-deserved honor, and a testament to JT’s kitchen and staff that so many Cbus pizza aficionados picked JT’s for the best pizza in town. As the article linked above notes, JT’s uses only high quality, fresh ingredients, offers reasonable prices, and features creative culinary efforts that produce fabulous pizza combinations, too. On my most recent visit I tried the JT’s pizza of the month–a Nashville hot chicken concoction (holding the pickles, of course)–and it was one of the best, if not the very best, pizzas I’ve ever eaten. In fact, JT’s pizza is so good, and their creative combinations are so reliably mouth-watering, that when I go there I eschew my normal approach of ordering something I know I like and instead will try one of the specials, just to jostle my taste buds out of their routine and give them a treat.
JT’s has a great atmosphere, a fine outdoor patio where you can listen to live music, an array of adult beverages, great appetizers, and friendly staffers–and now their pizza is officially number one in Columbus, too. Cnogratulations to Joe Hartnett and JT’s Pizza!
